In light of the on-going developments and uncertain times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, CSM would like to extend our thoughts & best wishes to our, customers, suppliers, employees & their families as we all work through these unprecedented challenges.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform our customers and suppliers of our commitment to continuing to provide reliable supply chains and first-class customer service.
We take the welfare of our staff extremely seriously and have adopted for a number of measures to ensure that every effort is being made to limit the spread of the virus, whilst limiting the impact to our customers.
These measures include;
- Educating our staff on virus prevention and protection
- Providing Cleansers, and sanitizers to all employees
- Securing our premises to include employees only
- Daily and thorough disinfecting procedures for each department
- Working from home where possible
- Warehouse department have enlisted working in shifts
Our Mills has also taken similar measures, whilst adhering to the government’s advice, with production continuing to run as usual.
Whilst incoming and outgoing shipments from ourselves and our supply chain partners remain unaffected at this time we have introduced stricter controls and procedures surrounding deliveries and despatches to ensure uninterrupted service and to protect the safety of all concerned.
We would like to ask for your cooperation in avoiding collections and opting for deliveries, where possible during this unprecedented time.
If the situation escalates or following the government’s advice, we have enough resources and equipment for employees to work remotely, and we will introduce onsite skeleton staff to continue to provide our customers with the material and services needed.
We are closely monitoring the government’s advice and will keep you updated on any changes that are likely to affect you.
